RECAP!

Thurl Murroska congratulated the triumphant party upon their returning, holding a celebratory feast in their honor that coincided with a celebration of the Spire's tenth anniversary.  While waiting for the feast to begin, the party snooped around the upper floor of the Spire, finding Thurl's private suite.  His desk contained a letter from his "beloved queen, Aerisi Kalinoth, praising him on the outcome of his altercation with the "Black Earth Cult" in which the Spire took a "noblewoman from Waterdeep" as prisoner.  In closing, the writer tells Thurl to keep a close eye on the Sacred Stone Monastery.

A short while later, Trevor himself showed up to thank the party (and Temmie in particular) for saving him.  He offers to approach Thurl on their behalf asking to have them inducted into the Feathergale Knights.  He also briefly touched on the Knights' mission to master the element of air and to disrupt the enemies of Waterdeep.

At the feast, Thurl presented the Oni with his very fancy-looking gold ring for his aerial acrobatics while killing the manticore.  He also offered Temmie anything she wished in return for saving Trevor Zendrick from plummeting to his death during that same battle.  Temmie stated she'd need time to consider his generous offer.  As the evening wore on and the crowd thinned, a very inebriated Thurl Murroska told the party about a monastery nearby that might play a part in the matter of the missing trade delegation.  A bunch of reclusive monks rebuilt an ancient temple several years back.  Although it is little more than hearsay, the Feathergale Knights have heard stories of human sacrifices and other diabolical rituals.

The party set out for the monastery the next day.  Along the way, they came across the remains of four hastily-buried corpses that appeared to have died 2-3 days prior.  Temmie recovered a bracer from one corpse bearing the sigil of the Mirabaran Army.
