The party finally cornered Orieoth, the self-proclaimed Lord of Lance Rock.  After beating him senseless in a matter of seconds, they managed to subdue him and tie him up just moments after he reanimated four human corpses.  After disposing of the corpses, Temmie wandered off to find more loot. 

Hytton and Oni decided to place a small glowing orb on a pedestal formed out of rotting severed arms (what could possibly go wrong?), with Orieoth regaining consciousness moments later.  Upon seeing the translucent floating eye created by the glowing orb, the necromancer lost what little remained of his sanity and reached out for Bosun, draining the mage's life essence while healing many of his own wounds.  Orieoth then jumped back into battle, simultaneously summoning a demonic scarecrow-like creature from the remains of one of the twice-dead corpses.

The party prevailed, earning 950 XP (159 XP each) for their troubles.  They also found approximately 199GP worth of currency, a drift globe, a wand of magic missiles, and several precious gems.  Huzzah!
