No, I wasn't really interesting in doing any of that...plus you prob. had all the games to do the stuff for.  Every time a treasure came up...I already had the achievement.

Yeah I had the same problem Stewie, I would have had to spend like 200 bucks to buy all the games for those achievements.

They got some great deals going on right now.  What games are you buying me for Christmas, James "Money Bags" Rogers?

I just picked up Tropico 3 and its expansion.  And it is AMAZING.  Nothing like ruling a small tropical island like a commie dictator.

Money bags?  Ha!  The only game I had to pick up that cost me more than $5.00 was Call of Duty: Black Ops, and I planned on buying that during the Christmas sale anyway.  Not too shabby!

Also, to answer your question: Defense Grid.

My steam is loading up fine, however, their support page won't load for me either.  Probably a server error.

They're updating their severs.

I've been reading some horror stories about them not doing anything with people with disabled accounts.  I'm kind of scared because without Steam you can't play the games.

Hmm, can't say I've encountered a logon issue.  The only time they won't help someone with an account is if it gets VAC banned for cheating.  You can still play your games, you just can't play on VAC-enabled servers.

Well Steam finally got around to clearing me out.  Unfortunately they had to do it after 1pm Sad .

Well I do have enough games...I just wish they would have allowed me to get the games I wanted for the past 3 days.

Video Game open world size comparison charts:

Larger games:

Whats interesting is in comparing the games, its important to consider the speed at which you move through the world. Wow is very slow compared to Burnout Paradise, where you'e cruising at 200mph in a sports car. So wow feels a whole lot bigger than 9x9 miles. Same with oblivion. It felt way bigger than 4x4 miles cause you moved so freakin slow.

Very cool charts.

Those are really interesting.  Some of the comparisons are really surprising.  I had no idea Daggerfall was so big (would've figured Morrowind was bigger), and was even more surprised by Just Cause 2.

Stewie, you've played Just Cause 2 a lot more than I have, what did you think?

Just Cause 2 has a huge map.  Doing all the side quests, the main quests, and random things I found throughout my play I only got to like 70% completion before I moved on.

It moves fast with cars but it's really planes and more importantly your parachute and grappling hook that makes the landscape go by quicker.  It really is that huge with a lot of hills and barriers to stop you from straight driving across like GTA let you for the most part.

Is the map mostly barren, ala Far Cry 2?  In Far Cry 2, the map seemed pretty big, but it seemed like 95% of it was completely empty.

It's def. not as barren as FC2.  There are bases and town you have to "discover" that then pop up on your HUD.  There are mountains and points of nothingness but you have equally huge cities with collectibles in too many places.
